    How do you view e-learning and it's role in education going forward?
    I believe e-learning is the way of the future, it is what is best for student learning, we need to embrace it.
    A blended approach between classroom instruction and e-learning serves the students the best.
    I'm really not sure about e-learning and the effects it will have on student learning and my job security.
    I believe e-learning does not serve students well, nothing can replace a qualified teacher.

Welcome to the District 4 OSSTF Website

The Near North is a geographically large area encompassing schools and work sites from Parry Sound to Mattawa and stretching North to Sturgeon Falls and Britt. Despite the size of our Board, we remain an active Bargaining Unit built on the strength of our members involvement on a District, Bargaining Unit and local level. We offer a wide range of opportunities for participation in our Federation and have boasted tremendous OSSTF leadership through the years. District 4 members have and continue to make significant contributions through membership on Provincial Committees, strong contract negotiations and unified Political Action.
